I highly recommend!

This property is an absolutely gorgeous specimen of Australian bush. We really enjoyed exploring the trails and finding little pockets of tranquil natural beauty – like the magnificent huge rock formations framing Pindari Dam and along the creeks, the sweet billabongs, and the incredibly unique forest of massive grass trees.
Also several breathtaking sunset spots around (and sunrise, for the really keen) and the stargazing is probably the clearest I’ve ever seen.
There’s plenty of wildlife to keep things exciting as well, for young families and animal loving adults. I typically see in a one-week stay: a flock of wild goats, kangeroos galore, several turtles, plenty of yabbies and fish, many beautiful birds and this isn’t even to mention their horses and growing self-sustaining farming endeavours.
This location was a catalyst for great memories and we will certainly make this a regular camping destination for our growing family.

Reset and Reconnect

Bringing our kids to Pindari from town life is always an opportunity to reset and reconnect as a family. Kayaking on the dam has been a highlight for us, creating moments of fun and bonding amidst the serene natural beauty. Evenings around the fire, with stunning sunsets as our backdrop, have given us cherished memories and a sense of calm.

Stepping away from the internet and technology allows us to slow down and truly focus on what matters, free from the distractions of daily life. The property offers endless opportunities to explore, from wide-open spaces to hidden gems waiting to be discovered.

Barry and Gwenyth are amazing hosts who are incredibly thoughtful when it comes to tailoring the experience to your needs. Whether you’re seeking adventure-packed days or a slower pace, they are accommodating and ensure your stay aligns with exactly what you’re looking for.

Pindari has become our family’s go-to retreat to reset, reconnect, and recharge. It’s a special place that we highly recommend to anyone looking for an outback escape filled with peace, adventure, and a deeper connection to each other and nature.

a great place to get away from it all

Pindari Centre Camping is a great place to get away from it all. The views
are amazing, both of the hills and of Pindari dam, lots of lovely walks to
do and it is a great place to relax. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the waterholes and potatoes cooked in the old stone hut. The off grid community isinspiring and I look forward to seeing the new developments each time we visit.
